oh hai !

Don't even remind me how stupidly long it's been since I posted on here. To say life is getting away from me would be an understatement. I'm crazy! But I have a few free moments, and I want to share a great quote I discovered while reading Dialogues with Marcel Duchamp (a book that is basically one huge interview between Duchamp and Pierre Cabanne, conducted shortly before the death of the former).

"... deep down I'm enormously lazy. I like living, breathing, better than working. I don't think that the work I've done can have any social importance whatsoever in the future. Therefore, if you wish, my art would be that of living: each second, each breath is a work which is inscribed nowhere, which is neither visual nor cerebral. It's a sort of constant euphoria."
